Top 25 Tracks of 2011 Countdown: #14 Dirty South & Those Unusual Suspects – Walking Alone
I have been a massive Dirty South advocate ever since I saw him for my 20th birthday with Mark Knight at Pacha a few years ago. Although I am partial to the clubbier records he was producing back then (see ‘Alamo’ and ‘Let It Go’), he is still a monster in the EDM circuit and one of the finest DJs I have ever heard play. ‘Walking Alone’ was a track championed by every recognizable DJ in the last two months, and his an awesome vocal hook provided by Erich Hecht. It is more or less a festival anthem, and was a staple in Dragan’s sets until he started rinsing this new tune he recently debuted.
