Drumcode label boss Adam Beyer has released a second volume of techno gems, featuring Drumcode staples like Nicole Moudaber and Beyer himself, as well as newer faces. Featured as the second track on the compilation is Moudaber’s new single ‘Rooted’ which gets a bit more melodic compared with her more recent minimal tracks – and we love it! Take a listen above.
The first track by Jel Ford, ‘Grand Union,’ packs a punch. We also like the groovy ‘The Space’ by Roberto Capuano and the dark and dirty ‘Uncore 95’ by Trikk. The ten tracks demonstrate the variety of the techno label, and how a genre that seems so minimal can actually be quite varied in mood and tone.
