Has there even been a peep out of Alex Gaudino since that track with the trumpet that was unavoidable like 4 years ago. (a cursory google search would reveal it to be called Destination Calabria and be just as annoying as it ever was.)
However, now the Italian DJ has moved on, both in quality and style, to what would be better described as a progressive house/trance crossover featuring an Avicii style piano hook and a soulful vocal. Definitely another one aimed at commercial success, though the one gaping problem with it is repetitiveness. There is just one verse, repeated over and over again, and there is literally no other melody than the piano hook which understandably gets boring after three and a half minutes. Decent and immaculately produced, but never going to be a classic.
