When I was on the main stage at UMF and Laidback opened his set with this track I seriously lost it! With his recent collaboration with Tommy Trash for ‘Big Fucking House,’ Angger Dimas is back in action with a funky hard electro neck breaker. I love that squeaky type of sound that represents this Indonesia beast so well. Keep your eyes out for this one to be released
On March 27th Beatport celebrated the fourth annual Beatport Music Awards. The awards were broken down into three categories: sales-based, community choice, and staff picks. Top tracks by genre were determined entirely by sales and in the Community Choice categories, over 10,000 votes were received. Deadmau5 really regained my respect as a fan during his set at Ultra Music Festival. Even though i was very disappointed that he didn’t close with ‘Strobe,’ this track was a great way to end the second day of festivities. Stay posted for more on UMF.
