This past weekend, Electronica Oasis was partying hard at Pacha NYC to catch Bob Sinclar, who has been somewhat MIA after releasing some monster hits over the past few years. Despite having a great night, meeting tons of awesome new people, and dancing well past 6am, Bob Sinclar didn’t really impress us. I think as avid music fans, we’ve earned the right to not be in love with everything we see and hear. Sinclar is famous for popularizing the “french touch†of house music, with heavy use of sampled and filtered disco strings. Heavy use might have been an understatement, as hours seemed to go by without any tracks sticking out. For me, the highlight of his set was when he dropped Tim Berg’s “Bromance,†but that was so far into the night we somehow came out of it with out a video.
Anyway, more pictures and live videos from the show after the jump.
