Bromance Records just continues to be a trusted purveyor of quality, hip dance music, never ceasing to live up to the high standards of label masters Louis Brodinski and Manu Barron. Today brings the label’s EP #5, featuring ridiculously busy and funky tracks from Jacques Lu Cont and Monsieur Monsieur. Both ‘In The Night’ and ‘Arym’ boast hypnotic, grinding bass lines, but each with their own twist.
Jacques Lu Cont (aka Stuart Price) is a prolific producer and his newest track is a testament to his famed abilities. His disco inflections are infectious but not floaty, keeping you enthralled with a rhythmic steadiness that draws you in. French newcomers Monsieur Monsieur (Léo Copey and Geoffrey Bougy) bring a minimal flavor to the techno kissed ‘Arym.’ Props to Bromance Records on again presenting an excellently curated EP.
