Welp.. the new Rick Ross album won’t be debuted until next year after it’s expected midnight release. IN OTHER NEWS, Hardwell dropped his brand new remix of the 2011 anthem, ‘Levels’ during his Hardwell on Air 037 about 3 weeks ago. Upon request, this remix is expected to be a relentless banger! Hardwell dropped this during his set Saturday night at Pacha NYC and its crowd response was just as expected. Hearing the main lead being chanted by everyone in the venue, the track takes a twist spiraling off into this savvy drop having this grungy electro feel to it. Rather known for his progressive dutch anthems like: ‘Zero 76,’ ‘Encoded,’ ‘Molotov,’ etc. This drop is very different than the usual, exposing a new yet invigorating Hardwell. Stay tuned for it’s official release!

Summer classic, ‘Eyes’ by Kaskade, serenaded by the sweet vocals of Mindy Gledhill couldn’t get any bigger. That dutch-master R3hab, notorious for his zany yet catchy drops puts his own twist on the track. Back and forth from that beautiful soft melody Kaskade established to those hard hitting electrified dutch progressions from R3hab. This track has it all. Stay tuned for the release date on Ultra Records.
Russian trio, Swanky Tunes also puts their own spin on the track. A much harder, beefier, unforgivable version than the R3hab remix. Swanky Tunes cuts straight to the point with their punchy basslines and hard hitting drops. An progressive-house original revived into a solid electro-house remix. Hey Swanky Tunes… Where’s the beef? Oh yeah, its in this remix of ‘Eyes.’ Details also coming soon.
Afrojack played an excellent set at Queen Club in Paris earlier in November. He’s keeping his momentum with another big release ‘Lionheart’ on his very own Wall Records. For all of you who want to see the dutchman in action you can catch him alongside Bobby Burns Friday Dec 30th at Roseland Ballroom. Watch the full video of his set after the drop.

Riverside Mothafucka! What a legendary song. Honestly, Sidney Samson had the right idea when he decided to take obnoxious Dutch bleeps and couple it with an inappropriate vocal. Instant classic if you ask me. The video is also unbelievably cool. This is the tune that put Sidney Samson on the map, and he has now gone on to produce some of the biggest Dutch house songs of the last two years.

Although some may attest to the fact that the Dutch sound is a bit played out (which I happen to agree with), if you are going to listen to pitch-bendy, bleepy, chainsaw madness-oriented music, you might as well go with Sidney. The music video is a must see and is posted below, Check it! If not, you’ll be missing out.
Dirty Dutch enthusiast DJ Chuckie provides us with his new single, ‘Who Is Ready To Jump?’ out now on Cr2 Records. Similar to his other works, it’s a certified club banger from the Dutch house master. High energy and explosive drops make it one not to miss; play on loud speakers immediately.
Fadil El Ghould a.k.a R3hab is one to look out for in 2012. He has build some serious momentum in the past months with huge collaboration with the likes of Swanky Tunes, Afrojack and Calvin Harris. He recently pumped out an obnoxious hard hitting remix of Tiesto’s festival anthem ‘Maximal Crazy.’ His sound has more of an electro twist than that of his dutch compatriots and displays it in his latest remix of Bennassi’s ‘Close To Me.’ Keep an eye out for Afrojack’s prodigy, his best work has yet to come!

Holy house music! Afrojack dropping the brand new Angger Dimas remix to his always classic, ‘Prutataa’ at Music Box. This is just.. MASSIVE. Angger is most infamous for his thumping bass lines and floor shaking drops. He has definitely completed that task for this remix. His latest remixes, ‘My Feelings For You’ Â and ‘Levels’ by Avicii were extremely successful. I would say that Angger is a very under appreciated DJ. He has tons of great originals and collaborations. His remix for ‘Levels’ got more plays in a week then almost all of his tracks combined on his Soundcloud! Just ludicrous behavior to say the least, but what do you expect when you see another Avicii remix. The thing is, its not just any remix, because when I’m digging for tracks and I see anything put out by Angger I get super excited to hear what he did with it. Creating massive remixes that just make the originals sound…rather boring. He has this golden touch like Midas, that just amplifies and creates tons of energy in any track he makes. (If you don’t know who Midas is, he’s the dude that everything he touched turned into gold) Check out his originals. His latest being, ‘Release Me’ featuring Polina is effin’ awesome. Â Tip your hats off to the Indonesian EDM mastermind, he deserves it! Be sure to look out for this remix to ‘Prutataaa.’
Everyone should be on the look out for Afrojack’s prodigy in 2012. The up and coming R3hab as taken the industry by storm with big releases such as ‘Sending My Love,’ ‘Prutataaa‘ and ‘The Bottle Song.’ His agressive dutch sound gets your head into a bobble. Be sure to check out his new remix of Alesso and Ingrosso’s festival anthem ‘Calling.’ Here is his set from Escape From Wonderland in San Bernardino California.
I could literally write a novel about this album. It is spectacular. I love what Phra and Bot from the Crookers have done here. In my personal opinion, this is the COOLEST side project in electronic dance music. All this stuff is outrageous. Just have a listen. And if you haven’t heard of Dr. Gonzo, just listen to ‘Bust Em Up’ and you will be blown away. I even heard Tiesto play a Gonzo song at Electric Zoo this year.
