It would be hard to find a more adored and utilized track than Fedde Le Grand – So Much Love. Thus Deniz Koyu had big shoes to fill when he set out to remix the iconic original, an endeavor that he revealed a few days ago via Twitter. But it seems that he has the right creds; EO named him one of the Most Anticipated Artists of 2012 and Fedde called Deniz ‘Breakthrough Producer/DJ of 2011.’ Fedde definitely has an eye for talent, having long been a supporter of other young Dutch artists such as Nicky Romero. This morning Deniz tweeted that he would be uploading a preview of his remix, and is it possible, it’s better than the original? Let’s put some earmuffs on Fedde for that proclamation! Full version to be released Feb. 10 on Universal Records!

Thank you Sidney Samson for this nice little booty of Jennifer Lopez – Papi. The Dutch house maven is the creator of perpetual favorite Riverside (Riversiiiide motherfucker!). This is a very easy and enjoyable listen to a song that has been getting a lot of big room club play. Samson is part of the group of DJs that likes to weave in pop and hip hop hits to his sets, making for a pleasing and diversified experience. Hit it up!

This epidode of Tiësto’s In The Booth brings you back to his hometown in the Netherlands, Breda. Boasting the 076 area code (Tiësto & Hardwell – Zero 76) you’ll see where Tiësto grew up and the canals of his youth. Then head to Ultra in Miami, where you find out that he doesn’t own a car or a home and travels with only two suitcases. Modest guy, but don’t forget the private jet!

Wow. This is GOOD stuff from up and comer DANNIC, formerly known as DJ Funkadelic. Today brings a teaser for his new track Doster, coming out on Hardwell’s Revealed Recordings Feb. 6. DANNIC is already getting support from other star producers such as Nicky Romero and Sebastian Ingrosso – so definitely keep an eye on this guy. Hailing from Breda, hometown of Tiësto and Hardwell and inspiration for Zero 76 (get it, area code 076!) DANNIC appears to be joining the talented and lauded stable of Dutch DJs.

Happy Monday! Earlier Nicky Romero indicated that his remix with David Guetta of Flo Rida – Wild Ones would be released Jan. 30 and then just a few minutes ago he uploaded a preview to his Soundcloud. Looks like the track has been re-created from the original title, but this is definitely the remix that the duo have been dropping for some time now in their live sets. Guetta is a big supporter of Nicky so keep on the watch for more collaborations coming up in 2012 (insider info!)

Previewed this track last week, Quintino officially released, ‘We Gonna Rock’. Released on Tiesto’s Musical Freedom label. Tiesto definitely had some influence on this one, probably why he played it at Lavo last week. The tune features a quintessential bassline and catchy synth melody that provides an electro house anthem to Rock to. Yes the pun was intended.

Perhaps the next cross over dance song from an EDM heavy weight.
Originally previewed through the efforts of 1,500 fans who liked an Afrojack Facebook status, ‘Can’t Stop Me Now’ has been gaining buzz for months. In the past few weeks, the release date felt imminent as it was previewed on Pete Tong’s Essential Selection to kick off 2012.
It is finally here and it is both dance floor and radio ready. Not in the same impaction fashion as ‘Take Over Control,’ but with the powerful vocals from Shermanology and the hint of dirty Dutch ‘Can’t Stop Me Now’ is a strong contender for both Beatport and MTV success.

Tiësto’s last minute birthday celebration at Lavo last Tuesday is a great example of the way that Twitter has become a potent factor in shifting social interactions. Last Sunday, Tiësto tweeted that he would be staying in NYC for a few days to celebrate his birthday, which elicited a response from Lavo inviting the DJ to spend his birthday at the midtown restaurant and club. Within hours, rumblings confirmed that Lavo would indeed be throwing a last minute party in Tiësto’s honor just two days later on Tuesday night.

I first wrote about Dutch presario Hardwell’s dashing new track Spaceman following his Pacha debut at the beginning of December. We then got an official preview from the man himself and a release date on his own Revealed Records. Just like his collaboration with Tiësto, Zero 76, we predict that Spaceman is going to be a bona fide club destroying hit.
Spaceman is characterized by an expectant, coursing drum filled lead-in, which then transitions into the Hardwell’s distorted heavy bassline with an electro twist. You can almost hear a little bit of Afrojack with the modified bleeps that take hold about a third of the way in. We’ve been waiting for this track for a long time now, as we’ve heard it in a plethora of sets over the past months. Get your hands on it NOW!

All I have to say is…holy crap. This juggernaut is definitely the ‘Prutataaa‘ of 2012. Rising champion, Angger Dimas tags up with the bass heavy dutch duo Bassjackers to make one of the biggest sounds of the year so far. An Electro inspired track including lots of dutch oriented synths with a mega drop that will have you off your feet for sure. Look out for this smasher, no official news on the release, stay tuned!
