Just in case you were too busy getting ready for EDC last weekend, you might have missed the remix Zedd posted on Youtube. Showing off his impressive remix for Empire of the Sun’s ‘Alive’, Zedd has posted the whole track to Youtube for our listening pleasure. Although not available for download for another week, this will surely be able to hold you over until then. Going back to one of his older styles that was excluded aside from a few tracks on ‘Clarity’, Zedd opens this remix up with some nice vocals from the original track paired with some beautiful chords, transitioning to some heart pounding bass and extremely sharp synths. Breaking from the chaos, the song takes a turn bring you back to some more nice chords and vocals similar to the beginning. Overall, this song is definitely one you need to hear to comprehend. Make sure to look for it next week when it’s released May 28th!
Julian Jordan is a new producer from The Netherlands and at just seventeen he has already worked with Sander van Doorn on a club hit “Kangaroo” and now has a single making waves on Spinnin’ Records. “Ramcar” takes inspiration from other young producers like Zedd and Porter Robinson in its editing style and heavy drop, and arrives just in time for summer festival season. Bingo Players, the astounding Dutch duo released a preview of their newest track ‘Buzzcut’. Being paired with a sexy video of Melanie Iglesias, and a glover to boot, can you think of a better way to release a preview for possibly your best track to date? We can’t.
Sticking to Bingo Players’ usual style of electro house that’s extremely easy to dance to. ‘Buzzcut’ brings to the table some really interesting synths. From the buildup to the drop, Bingo Players bring plenty of new elements. The extremely heavy kick only adds to the track that is already sounding like it will be a masterpiece.
Topher Jones released his remix of Steve Aoki’s semi-recently released hit single ‘Singularity’. Interestingly, Topher Jones decides to ditch the vocals for this remix, yet easily makes up for it. While keeping a couple of the more memorable parts from the original track, Topher makes the track his own with heavy electro leads. These heavy leads, and some fun effects give this track the heavy energy expected in most electro house.
Topher Jones’ remix of ‘Singularity’ is available from the ‘Singularity’ remix EP, or by download itself. Being released on Steve Aoki’s record label, Dim Mak Records, and also on Ultra Music, this remix, along with the other, are sure to be played this summer during festival season! The sweeping grandeur of the original Imagine Dragons hit was just waiting for a dance remix suitable for clubs around the world, and now we have one. ‘Radioactive’ has been spending a significant amount of time in the iTunes Top Ten and is currently at number five, so it’s no surprise that it’s been picked up and remixed by the likes of dBerrie, whose previous remixes of hits like Adele’s ‘Rolling In The Deep’ and Gotye’s ‘Somebody That I Used To Know‘ have been getting heavy radio play. This “Radioactive” remix manages to hold on to the sinister sound of the original track while featuring quiet moments that allow the mood and lyrics to shine through, before building up to an epic electro house drop.
Tommie Sunshine and Live City have released their second collaboration together. This time remixing Yeah Yeah Yeahs’ ‘Sacrilege’. This remix contains an astounding amount of energy throughout, a shining example of electro house at its finest. There are some really unique synths in all parts of the track that blend together to make this masterpiece. These 3 producers really show how talented they are by seamlessly making this remix sound like it could very well be the original track.

Dutch EDM veteran Ferry Corsten and electronic duo Bassjackers share production duties on their new release, Collision. Collision is a bass heavy, pumping electro-house song with refreshing moments of melodic bliss that is sure to have the dancefloor shaking. Ferry Corsten is iconic for trance driven records, but he strays far from trance on this track and instead delivers an electro-house sound that is much more geared towards Bassjackers’ typical productions. Collision follows up Bassjackers’ last release, the equally bass driven Grid, which was a collabration with up and coming Dutch producer Dyro. Bassjackers recently had a massive performance at Ultra Music Festival, and is continuing their ongoing tour with shows throughout Europe.

It’s merely been a month since Firbeatz released their last big track ‘Gangster‘. In that short month the Dutch duo have released a remix of Justin Timberlake & Jay-Z’s hit ‘Suit & Tie‘. To top it all off, Firbeatz have just released their new track ‘YEAHHHH’. Not bad for just over a month, huh?
The track stays true to the Dutch duo’s MO. The powerful electro beat is the driving force behind the track. However, this track is so catchy, that it’s sure to light up dance floors this summer. One thing is certain, this is a track you cannot miss.

Charlie Darker takes a different angle of Electro House in his newest track off Steve Aoki’s Dim Mak records, ‘Anxiety’. In today’s world of EDM, you typically hear artists afraid to take things to the next level, with many tracks sounding the same. Darker has released a track with production stylings that emphasize gritty bass rhythms yet still manage to encompass memorable melodies. Darker was recently at Webster Hall, where he made the entire city shake a little bit. He is starting to get recognized by the big names, and look for him to really be stepping out this year.
