Shortly after being released last February, W&W & Ummet Ozcan‘s incredibly uplifting The Code climbed its way to the top spot on Beatport’s Top 100. The track was released on Hardwell‘s Revealed Recordings label, and features euphoric synths mixed with a heavy bass that drives the song. The collaborators on The Code have just dropped the official music video, an action packed three-minute saga that begins with a single person traversing an urban area using various parkour techniques, and ends with a massive party scene with W&W & Ummet Ozcan handling DJ duties.
Tom Flynn is no stranger to dance music enthusiasts. Having shown face on many labels such as Dirty Bird all the way to Mobilee – Flynn is spreading like wildfire. This time, Nick Curly snatches him up to debut a a four-piece EP on his 8-bit Records! Four solid original productions epitomizing Tom Flynn’s interpretation of the different angles in deep house. The UK native has consistently brought a certain groove to his productions – this EP is no different.
Everything I am has been produced in a way that just gravitates its listeners . A subtle wooden block-esque noise that comes every so often, with uplifting chords to piece this original together. Just when you think that’s it over, a groovy melody that feels just right consumes the track whole. Once your ears get a hold on Loose Your Mind, there’s no turning back. Changing paths and going darker within his sound. Flynn has embodied the vibes you feel at the beginning of a night straight into the after hours, all in one EP.
Dutch EDM veteran Ferry Corsten and electronic duo Bassjackers share production duties on their new release, Collision. Collision is a bass heavy, pumping electro-house song with refreshing moments of melodic bliss that is sure to have the dancefloor shaking. Ferry Corsten is iconic for trance driven records, but he strays far from trance on this track and instead delivers an electro-house sound that is much more geared towards Bassjackers’ typical productions. Collision follows up Bassjackers’ last release, the equally bass driven Grid, which was a collabration with up and coming Dutch producer Dyro. Bassjackers recently had a massive performance at Ultra Music Festival, and is continuing their ongoing tour with shows throughout Europe.

Two of the biggest names in dance music Hardwell and Laidback Luke have teamed up to create a massive track. Words can only describe this track as being something you will hear at every festival, club, and venue throughout the Summer. ‘Dynamo’ was first heard at Ultra Music Festival, and as soon as a clip got online, it amassed 5,000 views in the first hour and over 100,000 in a week. That use to happen with just new Hip Hop tracks, now the fan base for EDM has grown so wide that tracks get so much attention. Fresh off his own label, ‘Mutants’, John Dahlback drops his new track, ‘Don’t Stop’. With a deep bassline and gritty leads, to stretched out drum rolls accompanied by a hard vocal sample, the song is a perfect reflection of the pinnacle that this artist has achieved thus far. ‘Don’t Stop’ was designed in the midst of the hectic touring and energetic performing in which Dahlback was enveloped. Its explosive mood is what makes the track so captivating!
“I did a major tour of the U.S. at the back end of 2012 and it really inspired me,” Dahlback explains, “It’s well documented the scene is kicking-off over there in a major way and they’re really not kidding. I had the most fantastic experience where everything I played went down a storm. I got back home into the studio wanting to make a straight-up club record. No vocals in the traditional sense (which I seem to have done quite a lot of lately), just a pure, big room anthem!”
This track is nothing short of the refection of the Swedish producer’s decision to compose massive tracks. Dahlback set a goal, which was to make an anthem that awakened and roused his audience into that rush of escape when a song takes over. His mission was to leave listeners stunned with pleasure and the irrefutable sensation which takes over with such force that it leaves one with chills. Mission accomplished.
