This week, the Monday Mix was done by STINKAHBELL, the London-based dubstep duo comprised of Urban/Hip Hop producer Nutty P and MC/producer Janset. The two formed STINKAHBELL in 2008 and have received an amazing amount of support over the past couple years. Their tracks ‘Something In Your Eyes‘ (Sin City Recordings) and ‘Don’t Tell Mum About Ibiza‘ (Terrorhythm Recordings), which were released last September and October, quickly became a staple in sets and received support from the likes of huge names such as Plastician, Skream, Benga, MistaJam, Rusko, Trolley Snatcha, Jakes, Kutz, Noah D, Hatcha, Diplo, and Joker just to name a few. Their next release is the highly anticipated collaboration with Psy:am ‘Hot Poo’ (check out the video that just dropped HERE!) which is due out on Plastician’s label Terrorhythm Recordings on May 28. Be sure to also check out their Soundcloud for all their latest original tracks, remixes, and mixes!

As fantastic as some of the releases this week were, we break you off with our top tracks of April in this edition. Undoubtedly, our selection for top track of the month belongs to Porter Robinson’s ‘Language.’ Banger. Hard Rock Sofa even decided to open with it in their Escapes guest mix. We continue with the other tunes of early spring that are sure to make a dent in the summer. It feels like ‘Atom‘ has been around forever, but that was only released, officially, a few weeks ago. How time flies. Get reacquainted with April while you say hello to May.

Each year, the update of the critically acclaimed Digitally Enhanced series has become an annual earmark for trance fans worldwide. Volume Five is no exception and is extra special as it is mixed by the captain of Enhanced Recordings, Will Holland, which DJ Mag named ‘arguably the most consistent trance label on the planet.’
Progress releases are the focus of Disc One, which leads in with the new single from Will Holland & Jeza, remixed by Beat Service. Label darlings Audien, Norin & Rad and The Madison all contribute originals, along with new content from Juventa, Beat Service and Falcon, and top drawer remixes from Estiva, Rafaël Frost, Maor Levi, Norin & Rad and Mike Shiver.
Disc Two continues the tradition of pumping up the BPM and goes strong at the beginning with the epic Karanda Intro Mix of Fast Distance’s ‘Alpine,’ and progresses through new originals from Audien, Alan Morris & Sequentia and Store N Forward. Temple One and Johan Malmgren lock it down with hot remixes by and Suncatcher delivers with a huge new version of Tritonal’s ‘Still With Me.’
With an endorsement from Mixmag that promises you ‘the label that delivers tune, after tune,’ picking up the 29 new tracks on Digitally Enhanced Volume Five is an essential step.
Thomas Gold tweeted a photo suggesting an upcoming compilation just a few days ago, but now the official news has hit that the Berlin based producer will be releasing a two CD mix on Axwell’s own label Axtone, exclusively via iTunes May 28.
Gold’s collection of tracks is chock full of exclusives, re-works and old favorites. Opening with a new self-produced track ‘The Beginning,’ the next 31 tracks will bring you back to special moments, as well as opening new musical doors. Gold is a very special producer who takes care to bring his fans through a progression during his shows and we can expect no less from this compilation. His remix of Miike Snow’s ‘The Wave’ was just debuted in full form last week from Pete Tong, so take a listen below!
Coming off strong on his release earlier this week with Rene Kuppens ‘Raid,’ Dyro has now been honored with a guest mix spot on Cr2 Records’s Live & Direct Radio Show. Featuring a slew of Dyro’s latest releases along with unreleased tracks and mash-ups, this is definitely a top display of Dutch talent and mixing for the English record label’s weekly radio show.
