Hardwell Feat. Mitch Crown – Call Me A Spaceman

By MichelleKUPP (@MichelleKUPP) on May 18th 2012

Hands up people, get with the show! That’s what Mitch Crown implores Hardwell fans to do in this very cool vocal video version of ‘Call Me A Spaceman.’ Sometimes vocal edits of tracks can be cheesy, but this reboot is actually quite compelling and has a dance floor vibe to it. Do you smell crossover hit?

The music video is a mash of 3D animation along with the ‘Spaceman’ from the original artwork released with the track. Spliced in with the animation is live footage from Hardwell’s uplifting shows. Let’s hope for a release of the vocal version soon? Thanks!

Dances With White Girls – It’s About The House

By MichelleKUPP (@MichelleKUPP) on May 10th 2012

This is not your typical house music video, replete with the standard hot girls and vague raging themes. Dances With White Girls takes his video for ‘It’s About The House’ down a distinctly (NSFW) hipster party path. Directed by noted nightlife photographer Bronques, the video aligns with his general thematic trend of portraying parties from last night that you weren’t (and never will be) invited to.

Trust a New Yorker to take the artistry of house music to a new level. In addition, DWWG, real name Frog, is highly entertaining on Twitter so it’s recommended that you follow him stat.

Official Video Debut of Sebastian Ingrosso & Alesso – Calling (Lose My Mind)

By MichelleKUPP (@MichelleKUPP) on May 8th 2012

At least the wait was much shorter for the official video version of the vocal edit of Calling than the tune itself. Featuring Sebastian Ingrosso and Alesso as the starring characters, with a cameo appearance by Ryan Tedder lip-syncing along to the lyrics, the video shows what looks to be the creative process behind the creation of the song culminating with Alesso taking the stage at Coachella just a few weeks ago. Rumor has it Alesso slayed during his performance in the desert, so get a small taste here if you missed it.

Martin Solveig – The Night Out (Madeon Remix) (Official Video)

By Joey Joey Joey (@JoeyJoeyJoeyy) on May 4th 2012

Madeon’s remix could be the sleeper hit of the summer.

Not as cool as the other video’s off the ‘Smash’ album, but, remember, this isn’t on the ‘Smash‘ album (duh!)

You got to enjoy the official music video’s these days. Crowd shots, funny DJ dancing and clips from the road. Remember when it was all random hot girls?

Enjoy the video for one of the best releases on April.

Carlsberg 2012 – The Movie Feat. Axwell

By MichelleKUPP (@MichelleKUPP) on May 2nd 2012

Looks like superstar Axwell has teamed up with with yet another brand, Carlsberg, to sponsor two underground shows in Sweden this summer. The brand claims to be working to refresh and re-define the Swedish party scene and working with Axwell to create a video game style promo video looks to be another step in the process.

Via the Facebook app, visitors will be given greater clues as to the locations of these super secret shows as time goes on. Summer is always a great time to capitalize upon alcohol brands and their events, as they traditionally have sponsored some pretty sweet shows, often with open bars.

Ostensibly the track in the video, which is yet to be named publicly, is a new Axwell track that will be released as a part of the promo. Those stateside, get involved and show your interest and perhaps we can hope to see some Carlsberg and Axwell love on this side of the pond.

More info is available on the Carlsberg Facebook page here.

Shawnee Taylor Feat. Sympho Nympho – Colors

By MichelleKUPP (@MichelleKUPP) on April 30th 2012

Sympho Nympho was a buzz name during Miami Music Week, unsurprising giving the superstar power that is behind the group, namely Erick Morillo, Harry “Choo Choo” Romero and Jose Nunez.

Their debut compilation ‘The Beginning’ was released by Strictly Rhythm during Miami and ‘Colours’ is one of the top tracks. Morillo has been making the rounds in NYC, spinning at the birthday party of Lavo owner Jason Strauss and celebrating one of his own birthdays at Pacha NYC, in which he is a part owner. Busy busy!!

Pierce Fulton’s Vegas Vacation

By MichelleKUPP (@MichelleKUPP) on April 26th 2012

Pierce Fulton is living the dream, pursuing an education at the University of Vermont, while also pursuing a little side gig as an internationally traveled house music producer and DJ. Sounds like a healthy balance, right? Despite what might seem like an overwhelming schedule, Pierce glides through it all with grace and ease, as you can see in the latest installment of his day in the life of video series.

The intro video followed Pierce as he closed down Pacha NYC and played at the famed Mid in Chicago, with the first chapter bringing you south of the border for a Mexican trip.. Now he brings you on a Vegas vacation for his first headlining gig in Sin City at mega club XS in the Encore. Not only was it his biggest show to date there, but his parents also came along for the ride and watch for them raging in the crowd.

Pierce was the proud guest mixer for EO’s March podcast, so definitely check it out here to get an idea of what his live sets sound like.
