Today we are lucky enough to hear some magical sounds released on Exploited Records by the mysterious musician better know as Claptone.
His first track, ‘Ghost’, is nothing short of creepy funk. Perfectly depicted in the music video is the feeling of being cold and alone in a sullen forest, unaware of whats around you. This track has already gained support by the likes of Riva Starr, The Magician, Digitalism and Tensnake. ‘Ghost’ features vocals by Clap Your Hands Say Yeah vocalist Alec Ounsworth.
Whereas the second track ‘United’ has a bit more of a disco feel, albeit a deeply dark-disco feel. Both tunes are equipped with orchestral strings, which just enhances things that much more.
Claptone is truly a special producer who will continue to shock and awe listeners.
