Say hello to the robots. Daft Punk finally returns to our computer and TV screens with their latest music video for ‘Lose Yourself To Dance’. The funky second single off ‘Random Access Memories’ features Pharrell Williams, Nile Rodgers, and the robotic duo jamming out in shiny Yves Saint Laurent suits. The band is playing atop what seems to be a pyramid of dancing fans. The venue for this throwback dance party looks like the inside of some groovy spaceship that would surely be piloted by George Clinton or Bootsy Collins. The retro feel of this video fits that ‘Random Access Memories’ sound perfectly, and honestly we’re happy to have the music icons back on our screens.
Lose Yourself To Dance Trivia – The baby faced Pharrell Williams is the second oldest performer featured on ‘Lose Yourself To Dance’. The 40 year old Pharrell seems to never age and is just barely the elder of Thomas Bangalter (38) & Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo (39).
