With Electric Forest literally only THREE days away, it’s time to shed the light on the festival basics and what to expect each day. Our guides to Friday, Saturday, and Sunday will be released throughout the week!

The Basics

First of all, be sure to check out the schedule and map! They will be your most important tools whilst roaming the Forest. If you haven’t bought your ticket yet, seriously… what are you waiting for!? Grab your 4-day or 2-day passes HERE.

If you’ve never been before, Electric Forest is certainly a sight to behold. Lights are strewn all over the trees, and there are art installations all over the ranch. This year, installations include the Einstein Moments Project, The Human Avatar Project, and more!

EF is also hosting their ‘Ultimate Camp Contest’. Whoever has the most awesome camp site this year will win 4 GA passes for next year. Check out the details HERE.

Check out Thursday’s schedule after the jump!

Who You’ll See

Who You Can’t Miss

Wolfgang Gartner – It’s probably obvious to most people attending Electric Forest that this guy’s set is one not to miss. Kick off the weekend and get ready to dance your ass off to hyped up electro/tech house. Make sure to leave some time to check out the other Can’t Miss artist of Thursday night, which happens to start a half hour in to the Gartner’s set.

EOTO – If you haven’t gotten the chance to check out this amazing duo, be sure to save some time in between Wolfgang Gartner and Ghostland Observatory. The pair blends pre recorded dance beats with organic blasts of live instruments that equate to a harmonious blend of dubstep, breakbeat, house, drum and bass, with a kick of trip hop.

Under The Radar Performer

Beats Antique – Although the Oakland based group emerged about five years ago, they may still be under the radar for a lot of you. The self-proclaimed masterful merge of modern technology, live instruments, and seductive performance built of brass bands, glitch, string quartets and dubstep, will definitely end your Thursday night right.

What You Can Pass On

Borgore – Alright, someone had to say it. Unless you’re into the whole stripper vibe and one note dubstep, this set can most definitely be passed up. No need to worry though, Conspirator has the same time slot and will be throwing it down at Sherwood Court. Choose wisely.
