Friday has it’s fair share of must see artists and the Fool’s Gold Clubhouse is home to some of it’s best acts. The label’s founders, A-Trak & Nick Catchdubs, will act as the tent’s “hosts” as they feature some of the label’s best talent along with some acts outside the Fool’s Gold label that definitely won’t disappoint. A-Trak is a pioneer in the electronic world and you can be sure he wants to ensure the label effectively represents itself as it takes over the Riverside tent.

Before we give a full breakdown of Friday’s tent, be sure to check out all of EO’s in-depth guides to each and every tent for this years festival:

See the breakdown after the jump!

Who You Can’t Miss

Gesaffelstein- The Bromance crew cannot and should not be denied. The French based producer/DJ is currently crushing the scene, providing some of the hardest bass heavy electro house and industrial tech out there. He’s recently released some bad ass remixes and Control Movement is one of the biggest tracks of the year, though it first appeared back in November of 2011 as Bromance Records first release.

Brodinski- Another stud in the bromance rec game, Brodinski is arguably the best “DJ” you’ll see all weekend. Brodinski has been touring alongside Gesaffelstein this past year and two have definitely influenced each other in a big time way. His broad and unique taste can lend itself to an incredible set that can’t be explained in words so best not miss a chance to catch the impeccable Louis Rogé.

Under The Radar Performer

Kavinsky- The Fool’s Gold member provides perhaps the most unique offering. He has an ecletic french sound that best fits into that Ed Banger crew. Most got to know Kavinsky from his work on the Drive soundtrack. Though he’s part of Fools Gold, Kavinsky is rarely in the states, so an opportunity to see him is just too hard to pass up, especially if you want to pretend you’re as badass as Ryan Gosling’s driver character.

Kavinsky – Nightcall

Who You Can Pass On

Tommy Trash- I’ve always been a big TT fan, gotta rep the name and ‘Need Me To Stay‘ has been a jam of mine since 2009, but if you’re spending most of your Friday here at Riverside, Tommy Trash doesn’t seem like the act you’ve come to see. I feel like this is a weird billing based on the rest of the tent, Mr. Trash would probably fit in better with a lot of the progressive main stage guys.

What We Want to Hear

  1. Tommy says:

Kavinsky is so under the radar, he’s no longer on the bill.

  2. Chi says:

Brodinski might not make it either – he was having VISA issues in the beginning of the month
