Electric Zoo Festival 2013: What You Need to Know – Friday: Sunday School

This isn’t a tent for your average attendee. Here you will find a slightly older more knowledgable crowd of people with a true love for techno and deep house. The Sunday School tent has been home to such allstars as Marco Carola, Adam Beyer, Carl Cox, Loco Dice and Luciano to name a few. It is secluded by itself, closed off to the other areas. The stage production is tastefully done in all white, with two school buses joining in the middle, there is little to be opposed to if you are a real fan.

Who You’ll See

Electric Zoo Festival 2013: What You Need to Know – Friday: Sunday School

Who You Can’t Miss

Four Tet– Dude is a musical genius. Combining so many unique genres and sounds together to form an unrivaled sound. Kieran Hebden, aka Four Tet, is in a category of his own. Incorporating elements of hip-hop, jazz, techno and much more. Check out his insane Boiler Room set from last year to see for yourself, really mind-blowing stuff.

Joy Orbison – The 22 year old from London, better known as Peter O’Grady, has been DJing since the age of 13. With a love for disco and house music, he really can funk a crowd up. Know for his massive remixes and collaborations you don’t want to miss this guy.

Under the Radar Artist

Cyril Hahn – Bursting onto the scene with his insane remix of Destiny Child’s ‘Say My Name’, which was played by Annie Mac on BBC Radio 1 last year. This track just moves you like you never thought it could, as if the original wasn’t good enough. Hahn is coming out with massive remixes and is establishing a name for himself as a producer as well.

Who You Can Pass On

Danny Tenaglia – The ONLY reason you can pass on Danny Tenaglia is because he plays so frequently in the area and all the other artists are from other countries. The Brooklyn native is a seasoned veteran that is sure to blow the roof off of anywhere he plays. So it’s safe to say you can see him another time and still have a blast. The man is truly a legend, having produced well over 200 tracks and working with artists from the likes of Madonna and Cher to the Pet Shop Boys.
