New Designer Drugs Remixes

Designer Drugs, the New York-based duo of Michael Vincent Patrick and Theodore Paul Nelson, are probably best known for their hardcore electro stylings they dub “Grindhouse.” This time around, they took a brief break from the electro equivilent of hardcore metal and delivered us two fantastic, dark sounding, free downloads.
If you’re a fan of indie rock vocals with soothing electro (who isn’t?) these one’s are for you. Still sticking to their ‘dark’ roots, these two remixes have not disapointed fans. In the past three days, over 5,000 people have checked out the pair of tracks.
Highlighted by their interpretation of Thieves Like Us’ ‘Drugs In My Body’ (which, shockingly, has less views,) Designer Drugs shows the versatility in its productions. The chorus is catchy, to say the least. And, as a whole, the production, from start to finish, is essential to an iTunes library
The other release, their remix of Hail Social’s ‘Heaven,’ delivers us the best lyrics. ‘If it happens, baby, I don’t even want to know,’ coupled with the ominous tone of the instrumental, gives us another, sure fire, remix.
Fun fact: Theodore Paul Nelson is in medical school. So trust him on these remixes. He’s, practically, a doctor.
