EVENT: Back To The Underground – New York’s Spring Massive @ TBA 4.26

This Friday, April 26th, a warehouse in Brooklyn that is yet to be determined will play host to an underground, 90’s-style rave. If you consider yourself a noob to the EDM industry, and would like a better idea of where this musical movement came from, this should be the next show you attend. On the the other hand, if you’re a long-time fan of electronic music, and are looking to experience an old-school dance party like the ones you grew up on, this should be the next show you attend.

The “Back To The Underground Rave” is going to have four stages, with what are supposed to be “visually stunning setups”. One of the stages will host DJs who focus mostly on hardstyle, harddance and hardcore. A second setup will be spinning mostly jungle, drum ‘n bass and dubstep. There will be a third stage dedicated to trance and techno, and the fourth and final stage will play a mix of some ghetto tech, figit house and b-more.

If you’re looking for another show to dance to the same songs you hear every weekend, this probably isn’t the show for you. Don’t expect to hear any progressive house, and definitely don’t expect to hear “Le7els”…but it is being headlined by Tommie Sunshine, and DJ Godfather, so you should expect to have an amazing time, hear some classic tunes, and witness some fine technical DJing. Tickets are still really cheap, but prices will be going up, so make sure you get ‘em soon.

The info line for the address is 631-772-9822
