Exmag Releases Full-Length Debut LP ‘Proportions’

Five Brooklyn-based producers, Eric Mendelson, Tyler Dondero, Mike Iannatto, Illumntr, and the always groovadelic Gramatik, have joined forces under the name Exmag to drop their first album on Gramatik’s Lowtemp label. ‘Proportions’ contains all the right elements of funk, soul, blues, R&B and electronica to communicate a post neo-soul type of vibe inspired by artists such as Erykah Badu, DeAngelo, and Robert Glasper.

Exmag is not just another ‘EDM’ group, but rather a production collective who explore new means of pushing the limits by combining live instruments and vocalists with their very own synthesized beats- ‘livetronica’ if you will.
