Gareth Emery feat. Christina Novelli – Concrete Angel
Finally given its Beatport release after making rounds on YouTube, ‘Concrete Angel’ is begging to be in the website’s trance chart top 10.
The prime parking on Beatport’s trance page isn’t unfamiliar territory for Gareth Emery. ‘Tokyo,’ the end of 2011 beauty, had a nice foothold there before being bumped out by newer additions. That one is floating, still. Respectably at No. 27.
‘Concrete Angel’ is a vocal-driven marvel. Not as hard hitting as ‘Tokyo,’ but more respectable due to the true trance landscape Emery crafted. Christina Novelli’s vocals are outstanding and anything short of a full listen would be foolish.
Emery dropped today’s release at Pacha NYC last Friday. The crowd surely approved.
