Gareth Emery – Into The Light
While ‘Fight The Sunrise’ and ‘Sanctuary’ seemed to steal all the glory of Gareth Emery’s latest artist album, Northern Lights, the lesser known track, ‘Into The Light’, is about it hit it big after taking on four fresh remixes.
Released November 14th on Emery’s Garuda record label, (album) Into The Light features four fantastic remixes from four superb remixers: Benjamin Bates, Lange (not to be confused with Matt Lange), Alex M.O.R.P.H., and Cliff Coenraad. I should note: Coenraad’s rendition is not technically a “remix,” but rather, a self-coined, “repimp.”
Trance veterans, Lange and Alex M.O.R.P.H., have the two most notable remixes in my opinion. M.O.R.P.H.’s rendition is driving and uplifting, while Lange’s rework is a bit more melodic, with a ravaging synth line at the breakdown.
