What a wide range of songs submitted in Indaba Music’s Contest. Awesome. Submissions are now in and its time to announce the winner. Thank you to all DJs who participated, we appreciate the love. There were many good tracks that we had the opportunity to hear but there was one that really stood out. It is hard to stand out in EDM today, but you three have succeeded in doing so.
A HUGE congratulations to JCX AKA Juan Carlos Ruiz Gomez with ‘City Of Angels’! The Spain born DJ really highlights a unique sound with ‘City Of Angels’. The intro works perfectly , ascending to the huge drop which really makes the song. This track seems to pick up speed throughout, and it gives the feel as if it was produced by Nicky Romero or any Anjunabeats producr. The breakdown is a heavy big-room type of sound, something you could hear at any club in New York City. The whole track is unique and really stands out.
