Who You’ll See
Who You Can’t Miss
Modest Mouse – Yes, I know. Modest Mouse is in no way EDM at all. Period. That doesn’t mean they aren’t one of the greatest musical acts to come out of the USA. Next year, their career will span 20 years. Since 1993, they’ve released five studio albums and six EPs, all filled with the grungey, drunk, and depressing lyrics you related to as a questioning adolescent. If you’re not convinced yet, all I can say is their set will be a real treat to watch. Here’s to hoping they play ‘The Moon & Antarctica’ in it’s entirety!
Fiona Apple – Gracing the Hype Machine stage is Grammy-award winning Fiona Apple. Another seasoned performer with a career spanning 16 years, she has released four studio albums (check out her ‘The Idler Wheel…’ just released today!). Her debut album went 3x Platinum with following albums reaching Gold status. Again, her set will be a real treat so be sure to check it out!
Explosions In The Sky – This four-piece band from Texas consists of three guitar-players and a drum kit. The resulting music is absolutely beautiful and definitely something not to miss out on.
Who You Can Pass On
NO ONE – Surprise! Governor’s Ball boasts ‘no overlapping sets’ so you don’t need to worry about missing ANYONE.
What We Want To Hear
Fiona Apple – Sleep to Dream
Explosions In The Sky – Remember Me As A Time Of Day
Devendra Banhart – Lover
Modest Mouse – Dark Center Of The Universe
