Praise unto the Techno Gods, in all their glory, for they have blessed us! Hyte Park, a two-day, two-stage, all techno festival, is coming back to Governor’s Island on July 12th and 13th. Though we do a good job of hiding it, we can barely contain our excitement! RPM and Pacha NYC, the usual Governors Island party-starters, are the whizzes behind this happening affair too, which insures a well-run, and event-filled night is in store.
Hyte Park returns to the sandy dance floor across the river from Manhattan with a large number of hard-hitting artists, like Chris Liebing, Robert Dietz, Hector and Monoloc. In their infinite wisdom, the organizers sought to double our dose of beats by adding a second stage, featuring talents like the supremely underrated Pan-Pot, tINI, Mind Against and the “Queen of Drumcode”, Nicole Moudaber. Last, but obviously not least, the headliner is the aural assassin, the techno titan, Loco Dice.
Tickets are out now, however only 2 day passes are available. General Admission is going for $120, and VIP for $180. So in midst of the dog days of Summer, while still having to wait 6 more weeks ’til Sunday School Tent at Electric Zoo Hyte Park is exactly what every techno lover needs in their life. Get your sunglasses ready, bandanas folded, tank top ironed and prepare yourself for some proper techno.
