NEWS: Whitney Houston Passes Away At 48
Though she had little impact on the EDM world, Whitney Houston, one of the most respected singers for the better part of three decades, has died. She was 48-years-old.
The Associated Press reports that Houston passed away Saturday, though no other details were given.
Her records amassed over 55 million sold during her career. She is best known for her influence on today’s batch of female singers, her roles in ‘The Bodyguard‘ and ‘Waiting To Exhale‘ and, sadly, a controversial marriage to singer Bobby Brown.
Of late, she was being considered for a role as a judge on Simon Cowell’s ‘The X Factor.’
