MASHUP THURSDAYS: Linkin Park vs. Jay-Z – Rock The Park (SikDuo Mash Up)
Welcome to the inaugural edition of Mashup Thursdays, brought to you in conjunction with NYC based electro house production pros SikDuo. Each Thursday check here at Electronica Oasis for the launch of a sick mashup from the pair, who recently made their Pacha NYC debut along with Otto Knows. SikDuo, composed of veteran DJs Chris Moody and DJ Riz, are both masters of melding a hip hop and electronic sound, along with being highly skilled mixers on the deck. The combination of production and DJing skills made their debut go down in a storm of appreciation from the fans.
For the duo’s first offering, they have given their fans a mashup of Linkin Park and Jay-Z ‘Rock The Park’ which you can download simply by going to their Facebook page. They premiered the track at Pacha and although unexpected, it fit perfectly. Take a listen to the electro meets rock meets hip hop mashup and you’ll definitely agree.
