MONDAY MIX: Eddie K
This week, the Monday Mix was done by UK dubstep and drum & bass producer Eddie K. Eddie K has a very interesting introduction into the scene as a driver for artists like Mary Anne Hobbes and DJ Fresh back in 2006. He’s come a long way since then, having been signed to D-Style Recordings, Stereotype, and H.E.N.C.H. with six releases under his belt. In 2010, he released ‘Serial Killa‘, a collaboration with Minus featuring vocals from Beezy, which easily became one of the biggest dubstep tracks of the year. His most recent release ‘Dark Ages‘, also a collaboration with Minus featuring vocals from Beezy, has become almost an anthem for dubstep purveyors across the globe, seeing plays in countless mixes and on radio shows on BBC Radio 1, BBC Radio 1 Xtra, etc over the past year.
