Mysteryland 2014: What You Need to Know

mysterylandWhatyouneedtoknow

Believe it or not, Memorial Day Weekend is less than 3 weeks away! That also means it’s time for festival season and the 1st Mysteryland USA Festival which will be held in Bethel Woods, New York. The festival is a four-day camping event, with two full days of music, arts, and activities, as well as awesome food by Smorgasburg.

This in depth coverage will have you primed and ready to navigate the hallowed grounds of the original Woodstock festival.

The Basics

The location of Mysteryland’s inaugural U.S. event is no coincidence. It is the first music festival to return where Woodstock took place. Mysteryland has had a tremendous impact on the music world and it is the logical festival to follow in the footsteps of the original ground-breaking music event, Woodstock.

Woodstock represented the music of a new generation and cultural tour de force for the changing times, and today Mysteryland brings together the global forces of dance music for the new generation’s revolution.

Under the Radar Artist

Fehrplay + Jeremy Olander (B2B) – Pryda friends upcomers have seen a slew of releases in the classic Eric Prydz style. Being mentored by one of electronic dance music’s biggest acts, we expect a bright future for these budding star producers. Plus Back-to-Back sets always get a little crazy!

Who You Can Pass On

Steve Aoki – Here at Electronica Oasis, the music is about the music. That being said, while we respect and love everything Steve Aoki has accomplished, we prefer to keep things simple. Aoki’s party loving attitude definitely turns heads, but sometimes we feel he is more of a marketing gimmick than a true artist who evokes emotion for his listeners. If your goal is to party with your pants down, get cake in the face head over to Steve Aoki’s set, we are sure it won’t disappoint.
