NEWS: 2012 Grammy Nominations

Last night the nominees for the 2012 Grammy Awards were announced to the world. While debates about Kanye West, Taylor Swift and Lady Gaga dominate the chatter, many EDM artists were also recognized.

Skrillex led the EDM world with 5 nominations, and even gained a nod for one of the big 4, Best New Artist. Surprising? Yes. Unwarranted? No. Sonny Moore has been heralded as a game changer in the scene and love it or hate it, to some extent that is hard to deny. He also picked up a nomination for best short form music video for “First of the Year (Equinox).”
