NEWS: Porter Robinson & Zedd Plan Back-to-Back Tour

In a recent interview with MTV, Porter Robinson revealed that he and fellow baby-faced electro wonder Zedd are not only collaborating on a song together (titled ‘Poseidon’), but are also planning a joint tour, which will aptly be named ‘Porter Robinson & Zedd Present: Poseidon – The Back-to-Back Tour’.
Porter noted that this tour will follow a format similar to their performances at Lollapalooza and Camp Bisco; instead of Zedd opening for Porter or vice versa, the duo will literally perform a combined back-to-back set. “Me and Zedd have discussed this a little bit…I would love it to be just purely for the fans: A Porter track. A Zedd track. A Porter track. A Zedd track.”
Citing the ‘back and forth’ onstage collaboration of Doctor P and Flux Pavilion as an inspiration, Porter noted that he and Zedd also ‘have a lot of songs that are not by us that we have a shared huge appreciation for and we plan to improvise a lot. We want to get up there and be stupid and have fun.’
I don’t know about you, but I can’t even contain my excitement – the merging of these two dynamic and musically gifted wizards will surely be nothing less than epic.
