Get excited. Savoy, who will be burning down the Famously Hot Music Festival in South Carolina tomorrow, is set to release their new EP, ‘Supertrail’ next week on Spinnin’ Records. Savoy is a Brooklyn-based trio that has been lighting the club scene up this past year with House and Dubstep alike. Their latest release, ‘Under My Skin’ is a great example of what they can do. ‘Under My Skin’ revamps of one of their older tracks, DIY, by layering the dark heavy drop of the original with haunting vocals from SOFI. The result is still intense, but lessens the blow for those non-dub-heads that aren’t always sure what to do with themselves when a heavy dub drop hits.
