Seven Lions has released his five track Worlds Apart EP via Casablanca Records, a true innovative masterpiece. The EP includes his huge track ‘Strangers’ with Myon and Shane 54, and Tove Lo which hit #1 on Hype Machine. The California born producer has changed dance music, and what’s expected to be different. He has defined the word different, and is in the midst of a North American tour that really captures an experience of a show.
The Worlds Apart EP is beautifully crafted, where you can really see the emotion put into each track. When you have Ellie Goulding on a track, you know you’re doing something right. Her track ‘Don’t Leave’ is cool and mellow , and also is quite moving. The EP’s title track ‘Worlds Apart’, featuring Kerli, is also a deeper track that really pumps some bass-heavy synths right into your ears.
The only instrumental track on the EP is ‘Nepenthe’, a darker produced tune with a melody that is undeniably catchy. Overall, this EP stretches the boundaries of Electronic Music, and Seven Lions is putting pressure on lousy Top 40 Beatport chopping saturated DJs.
