Swedish House Mafia – Greyhound

After Swedish House Mafia’s MSG destruction, fans have been itching for a new track. Ever since their formation, SHM always brings the heat with all of their chart-topping hits such as the latest from 2011, ‘Antidote‘ and ‘Save The World.’ Brand new for 2012, SHM brings you, ‘Greyhound.’ Recently featured on Pete Tong’s Radio One, we got a taste for the progressive greatness that was released today on EMI.

‘Greyhound’ has many hints classic of Swedish House Mafia elements throughout the track. The introduction has an Axwell, ‘Heart is King’ sort of feel to it with it’s gated riffs into a heavy synth lead. You also hear traces of that dubby, ‘yub, yub.’ Sounds like some Knife Party influence rubbed off during their co-production of ‘Antidote’ with SHM. Overall, the track is a killer, being injected with tons of big room progressive power. Be sure to keep an eye out for ‘Greyhound’ to make its way to the top of the Beatport charts within the next few days.
