Over the past few years the name Yolanda Be Cool has become synonymous with the crossover track “We No Speak Americano”. After going multi-platinum and number one internationally, it’s hard for the Aussie duo to even say their name without someone mentioning the now-excruciating hook “Ba Ba Americano”.
So how did Yolanda Be Cool possibly get over such an outdated track? Well for starters, they launched a hilarious recall campaign on YouTube, fake press conference and all. But more importantly, they’re now releasing some quality tracks. For free. Check out and download all three on Yolanda Be Cool’s Facebook page below.
First off is an original mix that serves as the replacement track for the “We No Speak Americano” recall. Called “Foreign Affair”, it samples some latin-style vocals and jazzy pan flutes.
The Aussies enlist Indonesian young gun Angger Dimas for a buzzy electro version of “Before Midnight”.
Most recently, fellow countryman AJAX gives an old-school piano house feel to “Love Keeps”
Not only a teaser for ‘Phat Bram’ (not to be confused with Phat Farm,) but a teaser for one of the upcoming seismic EDM festivals, Tomorrowland.
A lot of star-power on ‘Phat Bram,’ obviously. The rising Angger Dimas coupled with the wildly popular Steve Aoki is something in itself. The veteran Tomorrowlanders Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike and their appearance on last year’s festival anthem ‘The Way We See The World‘ suggests that they’ll be aiming for main stage yet again.
Released today as the third installment on Doorn Records, ‘RIA’ is quite the doozy. The newly popular dutch sensation, Bassjackers and the young prodigy Angger Dimas have teamed up together to make a 2012 juggernaut that fans have been long anticipating.
Just in time for Ultra Music Festival, ‘RIA’ is everything you’d hope it would be. With those eerie dutch synths leading into a destruction of sound (aka Afrojack’s ‘prutataaa‘ on steroids), it is definitely meant to cause some commotion on the dance floor. Be sure to grab your copy via Beatport and hold on tight!

Angger Dimas, the Indonesian superstar is notable for his massive, bass heavy sounds. His most recent track, ‘RIA‘ co-produced with Bassjackers defines his musical style… or does it?
Angger dropped a Bingo Players, ‘Cry (Just A Little)’ refunk on his soundcloud a few hours ago and expecting it to have some crazy electro synths or a massive drop, it didn’t whatsoever. Angger completely shocked everyone with this remix sounding as if it came from a DJ’s vinyl record collection during a 1986 high school prom. It definitely was an interesting route to take for Angger, expressing his fantastic musical diversity. Rather than drowning it with bleeps and bloops, Angger focuses mainly on the beauty of the vocals. It sounds great and was well created from a production standpoint. Angger does not cease to amaze his audience with surprises and putting his remixes on a pedestal way above the originals. All hail Angger!

All I have to say is…holy crap. This juggernaut is definitely the ‘Prutataaa‘ of 2012. Rising champion, Angger Dimas tags up with the bass heavy dutch duo Bassjackers to make one of the biggest sounds of the year so far. An Electro inspired track including lots of dutch oriented synths with a mega drop that will have you off your feet for sure. Look out for this smasher, no official news on the release, stay tuned!
Afrojack & R3hab’s 2011 juggernaut ‘Prutataa‘ finally has its remix package. After months of waiting, the all-electro package brings us hard twists on the dirty Dutch classic.
Dada Life’s remix boasts razor sharp synths perfect for their live sets. Angger Dimas’ vision is of the dark electro variety. Darth & Vader give the hardest hitting version, an electro step rework.
Released today, these will surely be picked up by DJ’s around the world.

Without much warning last night two remix previews of Steve Aoki feat. Wynter Gordon – Ladi Dadi got released into the universe. Thank you to Tommy Trash and Angger Dimas for putting their own unique spins on each edit. The track is a part of Steve Aoki’s debut EP Wonderland and we can’t wait to see him live when he embarks on his Dead Meat tour in February. Here Angger gives us a grinding but etheral dubstep edit while Tommy sticks to his electro house guns. Love em both!

Holy house music! Afrojack dropping the brand new Angger Dimas remix to his always classic, ‘Prutataa’ at Music Box. This is just.. MASSIVE. Angger is most infamous for his thumping bass lines and floor shaking drops. He has definitely completed that task for this remix. His latest remixes, ‘My Feelings For You’ Â and ‘Levels’ by Avicii were extremely successful. I would say that Angger is a very under appreciated DJ. He has tons of great originals and collaborations. His remix for ‘Levels’ got more plays in a week then almost all of his tracks combined on his Soundcloud! Just ludicrous behavior to say the least, but what do you expect when you see another Avicii remix. The thing is, its not just any remix, because when I’m digging for tracks and I see anything put out by Angger I get super excited to hear what he did with it. Creating massive remixes that just make the originals sound…rather boring. He has this golden touch like Midas, that just amplifies and creates tons of energy in any track he makes. (If you don’t know who Midas is, he’s the dude that everything he touched turned into gold) Check out his originals. His latest being, ‘Release Me’ featuring Polina is effin’ awesome. Â Tip your hats off to the Indonesian EDM mastermind, he deserves it! Be sure to look out for this remix to ‘Prutataaa.’
Angger Dimas, the young mastermind producer from Indonesia teases us all with his new remix of ‘Levels.’ His last Avicii remix of ‘My Feelings For You’ was huge, taking that classic Avicii sound and electrifying it into a mega-banger with a monster drop. Moby actually had dropped Angger’s remix during his set at Electic Zoo on Friday. Coming into this new generation of young EDM producers, they all have a raw talent for amplifying any track. For example, Boys Will Be Boys released the late Winter smasher called, ‘We Rock.’ The trio consists of Tiesto, Showtek and Angger Dimas. Tiesto, an EDM old-timer has been up with the times and knows for a fact that kids like Angger have insane talent to come forth with producing huge collaborations such as, ‘We Rock.’ Expect big things for EDM in the future from the younger producers because they’re bringing the heat!
Out on Vicious Records, Tommy Trash collabs with the young Indonesian, Angger Dimas, to produce this big room club banger. Climbing synth lines, heavy drops, and more importantly, just straight Big Fucking House. =)
