The Dutch are damn good at Electro House, and the Sherman family is no exception. Shermanology is a Dirty Dutch trio out of the Netherlands with uncommonly good vocals, who are known for their amazing live vocal mashes. Today they have teamed up with fellow Dutch DJ R3HAB to release ‘Living for the City.’ The track features Dorothy’s vocals over a heavier electro-house beat with solid drops and dance-inducing melodies. The vocals are definitely the highlight of the track, and one can only hope that Shermanology releases an unplugged version of the track, like they did for their last smash with Afrojack, ‘Can’t Stop Me.’
NYC is the only place to be this Halloween weekend if you are even a remote fan of EDM, and for those of you who don’t think the Sensation line-up is aggressive enough, Girls & Boys has you covered. These DJs are known for putting together insane sets on a normal night, and they will be sure to up their game for a room full of costumed fanatics Halloween weekend.

After a noteworthy top 50 release on Beatport’s progressive house chart worldwide, Hyperbits have upped their production standards to new heights. Undeniably their biggest offering to date, the duo remixes Muse’s classic track ‘Starlight’ and turns it into a floor-filling progressive masterpiece. Perfect utilization of Matthew Bellamy’s vocal plus a unique and full synth riff make the track something that will likely find its way into many DJ sets in peak hours. Taking on a Muse track is something few producers have dared to do, as their tracks and vocals are always well respected and consistently of the highest standards among all music lovers. Hyperbits manages to create something new and refreshing while maintaining the integrity of the original. The sounds incorporated in this remix are similar to what Zedd would sound like if he were to shy away from his aggressive electro roots in favor of a more full bodied progressive vibe. Make sure to show Hyperbits some love and like on facebook, follow on twitter, and listen on soundcloud!

Take a listen below, grab the free download of ‘Mass Creation,’ and be sure to pre-order the EP on iTunes out next week.

The Bingo Players, the Dutch duo composed of Paul Bäumer and Maarten Hoogstraten, have an uncanny knack for producing tracks that resonate with fans and DJs alike. Hardly the night out goes by without hearing at least one of their multiple hits, such as ‘Rattle‘ ‘L’Amour‘ or ‘Mode‘ amongst many others. Between their two Electric Zoo appearances (on the main stage during the festival and the same night at Roseland Ballroom with Benny Benassi) the production pair chatted with EO about their experience and what to look for in the near future.
Finally out! Courtesy of Spinnin’ Records, Eitro graces us with a melodic follow up to “Best Friend” and “Love Story” and it is called “Love 2.0“. Sticking to the flow of a big room festival sound, Eitro does a splendid job of creating a soothing electro melody and layering it up with a subtle amount of drums. Spinnin’ Records has noticed the success that is possible for Eitro, now it is time for everyone else! Guaranteed to be an anthem thrown in plenty of festival sets, this catchy tune will be stuck in your head for the rest of the summer.
