Fehrplay’s newest single ‘Phantom’ is out now on Eric Prydz’s Pryda Friends label and is already in the Top Ten on Beatport’s progressive house chart. ‘Phantom’ is a true progressive house tune that showcases Norwegian Jonas von der Fehr’s rising skill as a producer of memorable and emotional tracks. This summer, Fehrplay will be touring throughout the United States, hitting up some major festivals including Wavefront in Chicago and Electric Zoo in New York. Before you head out to see him, check out this track so you know what amazing beats you’re in for.
Eric Prydz aka Pryda just released his newest track ‘Power Drive’. Although it’s April 1st, we can assure you that this is no April Fool’s joke, because this track is great! This song starts off with somewhat of an eerie feel. Around half way through, the track transitions to high energy, while still keeping the eerie feel from the beginning. Overall, the track definitely stays true to its name, a track that would fit a power drive in the middle of the night extremely well.
‘Power Drive’ is released under Pryda Recordings. Pryda Recordings is Eric Prydz’s private record label. Under this label he releases all of his tracks that he produces under the alias Pryda.

Now with a solid year of touring under his belt, we can be sure to hear more Pryda on this side of the pond as he now calls Los Angeles home. Eric Prydz became, arguably, the standard in progressive house with his Pryda album and U.S. tour that dominated the summer, he pads his stats with his latest release, ‘Everyday.’
Completely gimmick-free and melodic, Prydz arranged a somewhat nu-wave sound over the vocals of John Ciafone. Easily a contender for track of the year (he might be on that list several times.)
Prydz will be coming back to the cash cow that is America next month. He’ll be stopping at Roseland Ballroom on Nov. 21 & 24.

Up and coming Pryda friend Jeremy Olander today released his track ‘Norrsken,’ Swedish for northern light, as part of Toolroom Records’ Amsterdam 2012 compilation. This is arguably Olander’s best track to be released thus far. You have have heard the uplifting, euphoric progressive song when Eric Prydz debuted it as a part of the fourth installment of his Epic Radio.
Not only is this a very solid release by Olander, it’s also his birthday so allover a very happy day for the young Swede. This is a sound that we are addicted to, and kudos to Prydz for cultivating artists to be in his camp, with a mission of delivering incredible melodic progressive.

There is no shame in being an unabashed fan of Eric Prydz and his friends. Pete Tong just debuted one of said pal’s – Fehrplay – remixes of Prydz’s melodic beauty Every Day on his essential mix. A little more rhythmic and a bit harder than the original, Fehrplay puts a playful anthemic spin on the vocal masterpiece, complete with some electro whirls. Look for it out on Monday along with the original version.
This is one of those illusive Eric Prydz tracks formally known as ID.
(It’s always bad ass to see a track called ‘ID.’)
In typical Pyrda fashion, the style Americans were finally exposed to this past summer, we are reintroduced to the the deep, retro instrumental that evokes nothing but emotions. Pryda music.
Now, it doesn’t take an Ivy leaguer to deduce that this is a fantastic track (though we have one on staff in case,) the main talking point is from the actual Zane Low-rip.
Pryda versus Deadmau5.
A little ambitious in the grand scheme of things. Two very different artists. Maybe he meant Deadmau5′ progressive circa-2008 versus Pryda-2012.
Now, if there was ever a reason to build a time machine and have a ‘Professional Griefers‘-type showdown, that would be it.
No release information for ‘Everyday’ as of yet, but it surely will be followed closely.
Coming off the success of ‘Incognito’, Norwegian newcomer Fehrplay is back with his tantalizing track ‘Nightride’, which was debuted on Episode 003 of Eric Prydz’s EPIC Radio podcast earlier this week. In contrast to ‘Incognito’, ‘Nightride’ steers us to a much darker and deeper place, hypnotizing you with its low, repetitive bassline and distant vocals, with an almost a Depeche Mode-esc quality to the shadowy synths.
Fehrplay – Nightride
Look for the official release September 24th on Pryda Friends. Till then, good luck trying to get it out of your head (I know I can’t).
