The Holland born R3hab teams up with the Russian duo to rework Example’s track ‘Perfect Replacement’. You know exactly what your going to get with when you hear R3hab and Hard Rock Sofa are going to remix a track ; an itch to hit the dance floor.

The chart topping mega hit ‘Rest Of My Life’ gets its dance music remixes from three big producers. Easily one of the biggest hits of 2013, combining the production of David Guetta with Usher’s vocals can only lead to success. The duo already had combined to make the hit track ‘Without You’ early last year, and took their production team to the next level for ‘Rest Of My Life’. Just grab some big name dance producers, and you will have a few remixes that will sure gather up competition on the dance floor.
Nicky Romero Remix – Coming off a huge 2012, Dutchman Nicky Romero puts his Progressive House beats into the remix to give it that uptempo dance floor feeling. With nice happy synths and a huge buildup, the track leads to a heavy grinding bassline. Definitely makes the original a lot more fun.

Hard Rock Sofa Remix – At this point , you know what you are getting with a Hard Rock Sofa Remix ; a dance floor anthem. The last time they remixed a David Guetta track was ‘Just One Last Time’, which flew up to Beatport’s Top 10. The Russian duo always takes their production to the next level to deliver hard tracks, and give ‘Rest Of My Life’ a groovy acid line which will take your ears places they have never been.

Daddy’s Groove Remix – The Italian trio releases arguably the best remix to ‘Rest of My Life’. With a big room sound, and a high energy drop, there is no doubt this will be playing global through any DJ set in the next few months. Its a tough pick between the three remixes, but we think Daddy’s Groove might have got the competition beat.

If you need a track to pump you up for the weekend, look no further than Duher’s ‘Millenium’, which is featured on ‘Xtra Life New Talents – Vol. 1’, out now on Beatport. The Russian producer’s track hits hard right out the gate, building tension with a grainy bassline and steady drum until the whole thing explodes into a lovely synth progression. Definitely has some awesome acid house elements in the intro, which had me stomping my feet at my desk.
‘Millenium’ has already gained support from Swanky Tunes and Hard Rock Sofa, and Duher works with the team who brought you Arty, so what are you waiting for!
Russian DJs and producers, Hard Rock Sofa, showcase a little teaser of their upcoming track “Kaleidoscope” which will be released on Afrojack’s Wall Recordings August 20th. The trio has really began making a trademark for themselves this past year and by the sound of this teaser, their popularity will continue to increase. Catchy melodies, electro build-up and an exploding break down – this track has festival banger written all over it!
Out soon on Calvin Harris’ Fly Eye Records is this soon-to-be late summer anthem.
Kind of low on anthems this summer, eh?
Well, Hard Rock Sofa comes to our rescue with the effective ‘Starlight’ melody. Far and away different from the acid Hard Rock Sofa spilled alongside Swanky Tunes, in what is now No. 1 on Beatport’s progressive chart, with ‘Here We Go.’
Hard to argue against the Russian trio’s duo’s success in 2012. Beginning with ‘Quasar,’ then on to ‘Apogee,’ ‘The Edge‘ and the aforementioned ‘Here We Go,’ Hard Rock Sofa looks to finish strong in the second half of 2012.
From Russia with love, by way of London, comes today’s monster release from Hard Rock Sofa and Swanky Tunes, ‘Here We Go’ out on Axwell’s imprint Axtone. ‘Here We Go’ marks Swanky Tunes’s first release on Axtone, a fact that the trio is quite happy about and has been in the making.
Both Swanky Tunes and Hard Rock Sofa are making a big splash stateside, with huge tracks coming out on the regular from each party respectively and collaboratively (see ‘Apogee,’ ‘The Edge‘ & ‘Just Can’t Stay Away‘) ‘Here We Go’ boasts an acid influenced bass-line, reminiscent of the big beats sourced by vintage synthesizers with liquid overtones. Think Nicky Romero’s Generation 303 for reference. The track has been getting great play from a slew of DJs, so don’t hesitate to add it to your own rotation.
Released today on Spinnin’ Records is Hard Rock Sofa’s latest single, ‘Just Can’t Stay Away,’ produced with Squire. A few weeks ago brought a teaser for the track, which also gave you an intimate view of HRS’s studio production. Known for their heavy hitting tracks, the Russian duo were named recently by Sander van Doorn as his artists of the week, a high compliment from the Dutch master. ‘Just Can’t Stay Away’ is already receiving support from Nicky Romero, Thomas Gold and Chuckie, just to name a few top DJs.

Spinnin’ is getting busy today, as a new preview from Sander van Doorn artist of the week Hard Rock Sofa is now live – a collaboration with Squire entitled ‘Just Can’t Stay Away.’ Along with a teaser of the actual track, go inside Hard Rock Sofa’s studio and hear what they have to say about ‘Can’t Stay Away.’
The Swedes and the Dutch definitely have another set of countrymen to contend with – the Russians. With Swanky Tunes, Matisse & Sadko, Arty, Eitro and many others gaining traction in the house music arena internationally, we’d say the odds are high that next year the DJ Soccer Games will need at least two rounds.
Swanky Tunes and Hard Rock Sofa are at it again, this time with their newest release ‘The Edge’ out now on Afrojack’s Wall Recordings. Representing the far far East, as in Russia, the pairing of Swanky Tunes & Hard Rock Sofa generally leads to highly technical and expressive progressive pots of gold, for example ‘Apogee.’
Sander van Doorn featured two Hard Rock Sofa’s tracks – ‘Quasar’ & ‘The Edge’ in his latest Identity episode and also bestowed artist of the month status upon the group. EO has already known what was up with the duo for quite some time, and featured their guest mix on last month’s Escapes podcast.
‘The Edge’ marries the Russians’ signature melodic buildups with rage inducing drops and Dutch level wobbles. This will surely be a track that has massive play during the summer festival season as its highly expressive synths are perfect for the über big room status of a main stage.
