After presenting a strong lineup with varying forms of success, based on venue and weather (both PNC and Jones Beach experienced heavy rains that effected some of last years sets), Identity Festival returns. The 2012 lineup was officially announced today and features an unreal listing of one particular DJ/Producer who rarely graces us with his presence here in the states, Eric Prydz. The opportunity to see Eric Prydz is one you don’t want to miss but the lineup as a whole is pretty awesome and unique. The tour kicks off July 19th, the tour in Cincinnati and wraps out in the desert in Phoenix. The festival hits New York July 28th @ Jones Beach.
There are a limited number of early bird tickets available for purchase today for the low price of 25 dollars. Yes, 25 dollars to a festival that features the likes of Eric Prydz, Wolfgang Gartner, Madeon, Excision, and Paul Van Dyk. Get them by clicking here!

Identity Fest makes its way to NY this Sunday where the likes of Kaskade, Chuckie, Steve Aoki, Nero, and others will be spinning at the Nikkon Theater at Jones Beach. Avicii will also be joining the beach party and to get you ready for it here is a listen from his set from Bristow. Tracklist and download link after the jump.

I have heard so many good things about this festival over the past few weeks that I deemed it necessary to do a post about it. The Identity Festival will be the first ever touring all-electronic music festival, and has already built up some serious hype. The festival is occurring from August 11th all the way through September 10th. It is a 1 day event and tickets range from $35-$40 and go on sale in 3 days. On August 21st 2011, the festival will come through Jones Beach in Wantagh, NY. This is a very odd venue for a dance music festival, as it is a seated venue. I have personally seen many shows there, ranging from Nine Inch Nails to Phish. I cannot see it working out so well for this type of event, but we will see! I will be attending and I am super stoked to see Erol Alkan, Nervo and Bookashade. Some artists are only on select dates so hopefully I can catch those 3!
