PREVIEW: AN21 & Max Vangeli feat. Julie McKnight – Bombs Over Capitals

By MichelleKUPP (@MichelleKUPP) on July 20th 2012

Just minutes ago Pete Tong gave the first play to another single off AN21 & Max Vangeli’s forthcoming album ‘People of the Night.’ The track entitled ‘Bombs Over Capitals’ features soulful vocals from LA based Julie McKnight. Slowly but surely we are getting a taste of what the new album will sound like, after waiting a year past the original promised time of release. The Swedes just love to debut new music via the Essential Selection, and AN21 and Max went the same route with their namesake single with Tiësto.

Now here’s to hoping that we get the full shebang before 2012 comes to a close.

Clipboard01 Axwell Vs. Julie McKnight – How Soon Is Glory (Hardwell & DJ Funkadelic Mash Up)

It has been a long while since we posted some Axwell, and it has also been awhile since we posted a quality mash up. Like most house music enthusiasts, I am not the biggest mash up fun unless I am throwing them in one of my sets, but this one really caught my attention. The original ‘How Soon Is Now‘ is an absolute anthem. I mean how could a collaboration between Guetta, Dirty South & Ingrosso not be an anthem? Also, Axwell’s remix of ‘Hometown Glory’ by Adele was another absolute banger. Combine the two and let EO favorite Hardwell take a stab at the mash up, and you get a brilliant track. Definitely worth 5 minutes of your time! I am also including as an added bonus to this post one of my favorite house tracks of all time. ‘Meich’ is another Dirty South and Ingrosso track that is utter genius and did not get nearly enough attention when it came out…
