Looking to get out of the house post-Sandy? With NYC getting back on its feet slowly but surely, young Danny Avila and legend Martin Solveig are preparing for a long night of big room progressive at Pacha this Saturday 11.10 to get the city out of the doldrums and dancing. Avila is about to release his debut single ‘Breaking The Fall’ on Big Beat Records (peep the teaser below) and you’ll likely be able to boogie down to the stellar tune if you show up Saturday!
If you’re looking to party, EO is giving you and a friend the chance to be VIP at Pacha. All you have to do is follow EO on Twitter (@ElectronicOasis), and tweet:
“I entered to win a pair of tickets for @DJDannyAvila and @martinsolveig 11.10 @PachaNYC thanks to @ElectronicOasis http://www.electronicaoasis.com/?p=52646†or simply hit the button below:
Moving across to the Hilltop Arena on Day 2, we see a lineup of artists that range from young acts with digital/viral fan bases, to the middle of the pack performers, building steam as mainstay names of electronic music, to the savvy festival veterans, where Electric Zoo is a guaranteed circle of the calendars. With that, it’s hard to say who is most exciting to preview as they all have something to prove. As a stage with no ringleader or label theme to shape the day, it’s really anyone’s game for performance of the night. For more info on stages we’ve written on so far, click the links below, and check out our full write-up of the EZF Saturday Hilltop Arena preview after the jump!
Soundcloud Sunday is the post in which Joey Joey Joey lists Soundclouds he has favored from his personal account. It’s Sunday and there is no need for formalities.

Opening with an ode to Frank Sinatra and New York, Chuckie threw down during his dirty Dutch house set at kineticFIELD during the last day of EDC NYC. After a bit of vocal intro from ‘New York, New York’ the king of the Dutch got jumping with ’1234,’ one of his new tracks produced in conjunction with Laidback Luke and Martin Solveig and debuted during Ultra Music Fest. Chuckie teased the crowd with chords of ‘Who Is Ready To Jump’ several times before actually playing it in full – when of course the hoard went bonkers.
As we previewed a couple of weeks back, Laidback Luke has released his newest rager today exclusively on Beatport through his label, Mixmash Records. Luke has been dropping this banger all over the place, from his set at Ultra to his headlining spot at Anomaly at Terminal 5 last month. Luke brings fellow Dutchman Chuckie along with French popstar darling Martin Solveig for one of the dirtiest house tracks of 2012 thus far.
Luke, who came in 20th in DJ Mag’s top DJ’s of 2011, will be back in New York for Electric Zoo in September, where I’m sure he’ll be dropping this one along with other 2012 releases Speak Up and Trilogy . Most of his summer is booked for shows throughout Europe, with the Zoo being his only East Coast show. See ya then.
Not as cool as the other video’s off the ‘Smash’ album, but, remember, this isn’t on the ‘Smash‘ album (duh!)
You got to enjoy the official music video’s these days. Crowd shots, funny DJ dancing and clips from the road. Remember when it was all random hot girls?
Enjoy the video for one of the best releases on April.
If you were at Ultra’s main stage a few week’s back for Laidback Luke’s highly dynamic set, you heard ’1234′ for the first time ever. Laidback is one of the great collaborators, and here he has chosen some great support in fellow Dutchman Chuckie and Frenchman Martin Solveig. With hints of both Dirty Dutch and technical French stylings, ’1234′ will be out May 7 exclusively on Beatport via Laidback’s own Mixmash Records, followed by a release on iTunes two weeks later.

After only having to wait a DAY between preview in release (it’s almost like a dream come true, right?) Lenno has put live his remix of Martin Solveig – The Night Out. The clean lines and synthy pitches of Lenno’s remix have us hooked. Get your claws into this one!
What good bright, French disco fun for your afternoon in the form of young Finnish producer Lenno’s just posted preview for his remix to Martin Solveig – The Night Out. Set for release tomorrow as a Beatport exclusive, the track will come out on Solveig’s own label Mixture Records.
This Solveig’s indie track is enjoying a bona fide renaissance with the brilliant remixes that have been released in the past week, including ones from TheFatRat and Madeon. Lenno’s is squeaky clean and bubbly. Can’t go wrong with that!
