November was another great month of music, with releases from big name producers like Laidback Luke, and Deadmau5 who has been topping our charts this month with ‘Sofi Needs a Ladder’ off his upcoming release of his album 4×4=12. There were also some huge releases from the young and upcoming next generation, such as Porter Robinson’s electro gem ‘We No Speak Americano‘ and Zedd’s remix of last months top producer Skrilex’s track ‘Weekends‘. Not to mention one of my favorite jams ‘This Night‘ from Filo and Peri which I honestly might have had on repeat ever since the preview awhile back.

The third studio installment from producer Joel Zimmerman is set to be released early December, and all of us here at EO are excited to say the least. From simply glancing at the track list, your average Deadmau5 enthusiast might be disappointed due to the fact that roughly 50% of the songs have already been released as singles or have frequently appeared around the blogosphere as set rips. Songs like ‘Some Chords‘, ‘Animal Rights‘ and ‘I Said‘ have already been played out by DJ’s. But don’t fret! That would be a newb move. Why? Your friends here at Electronica Oasis will address that question, along with providing an in depth look into Deadmau5’ next masterpiece of an album ‘4 X 4= 12’. We will also explain why his sound has evolved, and how this computer geek has managed to bring electronic dance music to the mainstream market. Deadmau5 finally released his highly anticipated track today titled, “Sofi Needs A Ladder,” under his own Mau5trap Records label. This track will be featured on the mau5′s next album which is set to be released December 7th by Ultra Records, which you can pre-order here.
