Time to bounce you tech house fiends! Release of the week is Funkagenda’s ‘Pebbles’ off of the Funk Farm compilation. The bassline in this track is so damn funky it’ll make you wobble like a penguin down to the dancefloors. British native, Funkagenda is an incredible producer who always extends his skills to multiple genres but can always produce a golden tech house track. His skills in the funky bassline department seek tech house master collaborators such as Mark Knight with the release of examples like; ‘Good Times,’ ‘Antidote’ and ’88.’ His name speaks for itself, the only thing that this guy has on his agenda is funk, 24/7/365. Funkagenda loves pumping the bass in any way to accomplish the goal of subwoofer destruction. One of my personal favorites is ‘Budgie‘ the bassline is to die for. The bassline drops up and down, in, out around..I guess kind of like the hokey-pokey, but in a much funkier way. Check out ‘Pebbles’ it is a fantastic track that must be on anybody’s playlist if they are trying to bounce. Bounce like a pogo stick inside of a bounce castle, yeah that is definitely an image that I’m still trying to wrap my head around too. Enjoy!
