The New York Times-approved Bloody Beetroots are back after a brief hiatus and they want to convert us to the Church of Noise.
The blending of electro and rock would be a disaster in most studios, but the Bloody Beetroots have been veterans at combining the genres for years.
In this return song, they bring along Dennis Lyxzen, of the Swedish band The Refused, for his, for lack of a better word, screaming vocals. If you were ever a fan of rock music, specifically hardcore, you won’t have any qualms with this release.
Electro fans can hang their hat on the traces of Warp 1.9 that can be heard throughout.
But, this unique track, for some, may only find its niche as a throwback to music you adored in past years.
The genre breaking Bloody Beetroots are even rumored to be working on a rock album as there next LP.
Let’s hope they don’t forget their roots, though.
