Where We’ll Be
We’ve got a lot of ground to cover this weekend, as always! Firstly, we will be in attendance for Dada Life on Friday. Much buzz has circulated around this show, as it is the duo’s first ‘open’ club gig in NYC since they spun at Pacha last January. They’ve played in our area since then, but they’ve been at venues not open to the public. Saturday you really can’t go wrong with a Pacha NYC $10 event. This week they treated us with a discounted Sander Van Doorn. Last time he came to 46th and 11th, he absolutely tore the dance floor to pieces. Some of the staff will be checking out the much hyped Cassy at Cielo Saturday too. If you’re looking for a solid show to go to at a not-so-packed venue, dBerrie at Santos Party House will be the way to go. Much of our staff will be there to show the Beatport-sensation some love. We recommend everything above, but would like to put emphasis on Cosmic Gate (also a $10 event) and the Skrillex show. Both of those are must-see’s. Lastly, a note about tomorrow’s Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike show at Lavo. Rumors are swirling that the duo will not be entertaining alone. The word on Lavo NYC’s Facebook page has confirmed that Afrojack will be performing too tomorrow night. Huge.
