The Weekend Beat 2/22 – 2/28

What a weekend! We were in the booth at Pacha NYC for Dirty South and John Dahlback. Big ups to both and to Pacha NYC for their hospitality. We’re looking forward to this weekend as the one and only Axwell invades Manhattan for two nights. Speaking of invading Manhattan, Alesso, with his number of NYC shows the past few weeks, is practically a resident.

Where We’ll Be
Tonight, we will be taking in a free open-bar at Santos Party House. Hyperbits will be in the building along with local phenom Tyler Sherritt. Thursday we’re likely to check out, what we believe to be, Tommy Trash’s NYC debut at Lavo. Lavo has held the best Thursday parties all fall and, now, all winter. We truly do look forward to the day-after-hump-day. Friday it is imperative that we attend Cosmic Opera. The hype has been building for months and we cannot wait much longer. Though we wish we could check out Deniz Koyu along with Ax the night before, we’ll have to settle for Thomas Gold. Oh, boo. Friday we will also be at Glo on Long Island for Arty and Cazzette. Glo is one of the most underrated venues in the entire Tri-state. It’s friendly, doesn’t get packed and you can get inches away from the DJ. Oh, and beautiful women too. What more could you want! And if you thought that was it, we will have a few delegates at Pacha NYC for the great Markus Schulz. Saturday is a split. Some will be at Bart B More, some will be at Dubfire, and others, like me, will be sleeping.

Recently Announced Shows
Nancy Whang & Justin Miller will be at Yotel March 3.

Rebecca & Fiona will be at Pacha NYC on March 16.

Glo will host Luciano on March 23 then Laidback Luke a week later, March 30.

Mur.Mur will bring in Martin Solveig on March 26, Cedric Gervais on April 9 and Steve Aoki on April 23.
