Throwback Thursday!

To find the three tracks for this weeks Throwback Thursday post, I went into my iTunes and sorted by play count. I then went back a few short years (which for me would constitute a ‘throwback’), and found these 3 absolute gems. First is Mylo‘s signature track ‘Drop the Pressure’. Remixed by savages like Laidback Luke and Riton (of Carte Blanche fame) and supported by every electro DJ on planet Earth, this track has the most recognizable vocal sample of all time. Next is EO favorite Dirty South feat. Rudy ‘Let it Go’ (Axwell Remix). I have no words to describe this song. It is a monster. Lastly, the only true ‘throwback’…Armand Van Helden‘s ‘U Don’t Know Me’. This track reached number one on UK charts in 1999. His sound has evolved completely, but the disco elements were evident in 1999, and still are there in his current Duck Sauce productions.
