Throwback Thursday!

Damn I’m in a good mood. It’s almost Friday, I am seeing Fedde Le Grand and Erick Morillo Saturday, and the recent Daft Punk and Deadmau5 releases have kept my ears happy for the past week. If you follow this blog, it has probably become quite evident that a ‘throwback’ to the EO authors would not exactly date back to birth of house music (the average age of EO members is around 23). That being said, for this weeks ‘Throwback Thursday’ I have decided to drop 2 old school Daft Punk tracks and 1 old school Deadmau5 tracks. I have chosen ‘Da Funk’ and ‘Rollin and Scratchin’ from my favorite Daft Punk album ‘Homework’. If you have been to a DJ set over the course of the last 10 years, odds are you have grooved out to these tracks. For the Deadmau5 track, I picked ‘Slip’ from his album ‘Random Album Title’. This is a classic from his first album release, and it is still a relevant banger in the electro-house scene.
