2011 turned into quite a year for Alesso. He was really able to put himself on the map with his remix of ‘Pressure‘ by Nadia Ali, Starkillers & Alex Kenji (do people even know what the original sounds like?) and has since distinguished himself as a real up and comer in the DJ/producer world. His most recent single ‘Raise Your Head‘ and his remix of ‘Titanium’ (David Guetta) have only further advanced Alesso into premier DJ consideration.
Alesso is fortunate enough to be mentored by one of the best in Sebastian Ingrosso. Ingrosso, alongside Alesso arguably created this years EZF anthem, ‘Calling’, which features euphoric big room build with signature climatic synths, a perfect recipe for a progressive big room banger. It may not have Etta James vocals, but it’s no doubt one of the biggest anthems of 2011.
Lucky for us over at EO, we were able to interview the young swede. Check out our interview here!
