If you still haven’t decided where you plan to go for New Year’s Eve, you definitely need to check out Webster Hall’s New Year’s Eve Ball. The legendary venue will be hosting Wolfgang Gartner, Gessafelstein, Brodinski, and many more artists. At midnight, the “largest balloon drop in the free world” will happen, dropping over 100,000 balloons.
In traditional New Year’s fashion, Webster Hall will have 40 LCD screens and the largest HD LED Video Wall in NYC dedicated to the ball drop. At midnight there will be a massive champagne toast and the balloons will drop.
Webster Hall is really going all out for this event, offering an open bar (21+) if you purchase the silver ticket. The bars will be open for six hours, so this is definitely worth it if you have the extra money to spare for the ticket upgrade. Also, with any ticket you purchase you get a Webster Hall 2014 membership card for free admission all year until 1am, which has a value of $1,000. This is an insane extra incentive to this event that is already going to be crazy. Not only will there be plenty of insane music to keep you busy, there will also be fire displays, stilt walkers, aerial performances, and much, much more.
